Conservative leader David Cameron recently visited Enfield North to join campaigners in opposition to the proposed cuts to Chase Farm Hospital.

David Cameron pledged that "On the first day of a Conservative government we would halt the closure program of 24 hour A&E and other clinical services underway at Chase Farm".

David Cameron was accompanied by Nick de Bois, Matthew Laban, Shadow Health Secretary Andrew Lansley MP, Enfield Southgate MP David Burrowes, and Broxbourne MP Charles Walker.

Boris Johnson also visited Enfield to support Chase Farm campaign as part of his successful campaign to become Mayor of London.
